WHY WE EXIST

Somebody has to decide.

Autonomy has spent a decade getting individual machines to understand the world. It worked. What nobody built is the part that decides which machine acts when two of them want the same thing.

We started building it for drones because that is where the problem bit us first. It turned out to be the same problem in a warehouse, a depot, a refinery, an orbit, and a swarm of software agents — so we stopped building a drone product and built the layer instead.

THE PIVOT, STATED PLAINLY

We were a drone company. We are not any more.

Our first product flew inspection missions. It worked — and the interesting part turned out to be the deconfliction engine underneath rather than the application on top.

Every interesting request we got was for the engine, for something that had nothing to do with aircraft. That is a signal you only get once, and we took it.

WHERE WE ARE

Distributed across time zones, with a hardware lab where the robots actually are. We hire where the problem is, not where the office is — tell us what you would build.
